Investing in the mining sector to make it more conducive for African artisanal miners is the primary business and mission of Bravie Mines. We buy raw Gold from artisanal and small-scale miners at very competitive rates for them. We then smelt the Gold and semi refine it to add value before exporting it. All our gold is semi refined in our refinery. This is the only active refinery of its kind in the region. The gold from artisanal is usual of a purity of 87 to 94%. Artisanal miners expedite a lot of energy and time in their mining activities. To address this problem we are engaging with miners associations and manufactures to get the cheapest yet effective mechanised equipment to the fields. We are preparing to test these technologies in Migori Kenya as well in Bondo DRC where we have some mines. We partner with individuals and companies who are willing to invest in cheap mechanised technologies as well as in the mining businesses. All our systems and transactions are fully documented and adherent to the national and international laws in East and Central Africa. Market We strive to sell our Gold directly to the clients in the USA, Europe, Japan and India. We are eager to support those efforts for we believe minerals should benefit both the producers and consumers in the same proportion. Logistics The biggest nightmare in Gold mining is logistics. To deal with this issue we have an in-house logistics centre. Apart from undertaking logistics for Bravie Mines, Bravie Logistics is at the heart of every operation of major mining companies in the region up to the exportation level.
