Bray Community Addiction Team

Bray Community Addiction Team CLG (BCAT) is a low threshold community-based Project, which offers a range of services to people with drug/alcohol problems, their families and the wider Bray community. Bray Community Addiction Team (BCAT) was established in 2002 through the Bray Local Drugs and Alcohol Task Force (BLDATF)’s Action Plan. BCAT is located in two sides of Bray (at the Boghall Road premises and at the Dublin Road premises) to serve the two communities most affected by the problems associated with drugs/alcohol use. BCAT is unique in that it is low threshold service which provides a welcoming, non-judgmental, confidential, environment in which to offer appropriate services to individuals (adults and children), families and the wider community who are experiencing drug/ alcohol problems and are affected by substance use and addiction issues. It meets people where they are at in their journey and in whatever circumstances.
