Bread & Circus

Bread & Circus Ltd. is a Dublin based film & television production company that deals with the creation and sale of scripts, images and sound. Bread & Circus was founded in 2008 following eight years of collaboration between Gary Bermingham and Andrew Keogh in the art film collective, Dogmedia Productions. Working primarily in digital format, with low to no-budget financing, Dogmedia have made over fifteen pieces of work to date including documentaries, short fiction films, radio work, sketch comedy, animations and model making. They are also involved in live music/visual performances with two Dublin-based groups. Dogmedia, later Western Plumbers, have consistently delivered new and original comedy and challenging documentaries for the past eight years and this absurd non-linear manner of viewing and commentating on society has sharpened wits and prepared Andrew and Gary for the media industry proper.
