Breaking Barriers Community Arts (BBCA) is a community focused social enterprise, using the arts to transform and regenerate communities and lead to positive and personal change. Breaking Barriers transforms individuals and communities by-*developing education and training programmes *providing skills for todays workforce *improving health and wellbeing through tools for self expression BBCA combines community arts practice, storytelling traditions and digital technology to develop and tailor projects for a variety of aims and objectives. Our products and services range from delivery of project and training workshops to development of products such as dvd's or combination of dvd and book and other digital outputs to the internet. We are known for our Digital Storytelling projects that have served the community through empowering storytellers to tell and in most cases share their story. The stories can transform both the listener and the storyteller and have found their place in heritage rooms, museums, presentations, cinema's, funerals, shopping centres, prisons, schools, homes, the list is truely endless.
