Breakthrough Institute

Breakthrough Institute is an academic/technical assistance organization established in 2008 as a social enterprise dedicated to enhancing quality citizens and democratic just society in Bangladesh. It intends to focus on some selective areas initially targeting health, education, gender equality and governance through enhancing the capacity of different generations. BI emphasizes it’s a programmatic strategy in four thematic areas: a) Social research/study and evaluation b) Capacity building through training/workshop c) Training module and learning material development and d) Policy advocacy and campaign. Under the regular program it operates the following activities like as; 1. Early childhood development program (like as; Preschool, Genius Child (based on Life skills development), Parents Counseling etc.) 2. Adolescents development program through comprehensive guidance and curriculum for the personal, family, social and professional aspects of life by enhancing their values, knowledge, skills and lifestyle. Human resources development through working with youth groups and professionals to enhance their capacity and competency. Moreover, it also provides consultancy and expert services to International, National NGOs, Government departments and bodies and other multi sectors on the above issues.
