BRED Bank Cambodia is the Kingdom’s best bank for business, offering a smarter way to bank to our rapidly-growing network of business and personal banking customers. We’re a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French banking group, BRED Banque Populaire, which itself is part of BCPE, one of the largest banking groups in France with 36 million customers worldwide. We opened for business in 2017 and offer the highest standards in European banking and a uniquely Cambodian feel across our branch network. We deliver the gold standard for banking operations in the Kingdom to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), corporate clients, and Cambodia’s emerging middle class while tailoring our products and services to meet each individual’s needs. In addition to following the National Bank of Cambodia’s regulations, we offer our customers the added protection of regulations set by the European Commission’s European Banking Committee. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of BRED Banque Populaire, deposits are backed by the Group’s shareholders as well as BCPE Group, which offers customers an A1/A+ rating. The majority of our 300+ employees are Cambodian and 90% of our current portfolio is locally based. We currently operate from twelve branches in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham and Battambang and intend to expand to at least 15 to 20 branches across the country in the next few years.
