Bridge For Collaborative Communities
A group of Middle Eastern former and current United Nations servants and international community workers, as well as a number of local academic think tanks who have been working as expatriates have embarked on a new initiative that aims to bridge the Middle Eastern professionals and capacities who have left the country to participate in the rebuilding of the post-conflict communities of the Middle East and in the United States. BRIDGE organization, therefore, was formed on the basis of a unified desire to place their efforts under the one flagship “Collaborative Communities”. As one team, the BRIDGE organization will envisage the way forward to support building the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) communities via harnessing the local cumulative professional expertise and knowledge for the benefit of these localities and their development. The initiative, produces the required local technical and intellectual advice in a high professional value and best practices for the implementation of development programs in intra and post conflict zones. Also, it exists to induce the change for better adaptation alongside the current status quo in the Middle East. It is an enabling initiative to both public and private spheres in order to promote better services to all people equally, using responsive and parallel policies and mechanisms. BRIDGE has its own local specialized teams in the area of political advice, public administration, and psychosocial development. The center is governed by a volunteer, unpaid board of advisors who provide advice on policy, advocacy, and psychosocial interventions. The center will provide its services in both professional consultations and capacity building methods for the enhancement of collaborative Middle East and North Africa (MENA) communities in and outside the MENA region.
