Brio Programme

BRIO has been developed to support those working with and supporting people who live with a long-term condition or disability, to achieve a better quality and more independent life. BRIO can mean: B – BELIEF Our belief in the value of self management to patients, service users and the teams caring and supporting them to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in managing their own health and health care. R – REALISTIC The need for realistic goals to ensure staff teams provide the required quality support and their patients and service users meet their personal outcomes. I – INNOVATIVE We must all be innovative in our approaches and ensure we continually develop. O – OUTCOMES Personal, achievable, manageable in the long term for both teams and those they support.
