Briston is an independent French watchmaking brand conceived by Brice Jaunet. The company celebrated its 10th anniversary in July 2023. A Briston watch stands out for its fundamentally horological DNA and its sport-chic spirit—this distinctively British style that the English have mastered to perfection. A style that is both elegant, relaxed, and slightly unconventional, it quickly gained popularity in the United States starting in the 1950s. This sportswear aesthetic, also known as "preppy," captivated Ivy League students, beginning with the most famous of them all, the icon John F. Kennedy.
