BRIZOLA is a Contemporary Art Office promoting preeminent mid-career and emerging Brazilian artists. It was built by a family that has been living surrounded by art for generations and shared the same mission of providing the best platform for bringing value to Minas Gerais and Brazilian art and overcoming barriers by taking it to the most diverse spaces. Founded by Cida Brizola in the gallery has consistently fomented curatorial practice while upholding the utmost quality in art production. Today, together with his daughter Maria, the gallery has been repositioned as an art office. It came from the desire to create more than an exhibition space but rather a hub for articulating meetings and connections between actors in the art ecosystem - curators, collectors, interested, passionate people, managers of public collections and institutions, museums, artists, patrons, sponsors, art fairs and galleries.
