We are a husband and wife team dedicated to empowering homeowners with the latest smart home technology. Trey has extensive experience in systems engineering and technical innovation management from over 12 years with a defense contractor. While leading a team using industrial internet of things (IIOT) technology to deliver real-time analytics for a smart factory, Trey became frustrated with the slow pace of innovation in his industry. Trey left to become Mel’s technical partner at her nearly decade-old Strategic Design Company, Brllnt, giving him the freedom to start up Brllnt Homes. Mel’s adept client services, human-centered approach, aesthetic sensibility, and passion for reducing environmental impact rounds out our team.
