Ever since that experience, I’ve known I wanted to help people who flee their homes – I’ve been doing it for 10 years. How did it start? One day, over a decade ago, my wife, an immigration attorney, said: “You know a lot immigration cases are about finding evidence through research and a lot of them are about writing a compelling story.” I have a PhD in history and I’ve published a lot. She suggested I use my research and writing skills to help immigration lawyers and their clients. 🤔… It made total sense – so I went for it! Soon enough, I was getting clients. I helping attorneys who and needed reliable, tailored, and cost-effective support. I hearing that the asylum or waiver case I’d worked on was approved! I knew then that I wanted to do this full-time. I went back to doing research for a while to develop my skills further.
