Broadreach House

Broadreach House has been providing highly successful residential treatment since 1982. Broadreach - 31 beds (Mixed sex Detoxification & Integrated Residential Programme – up to 12 weeks post detox) offers detoxification, which may be followed by a specialist integrated residential programme, designed for clients who require intensive support with a Dual Diagnosis and/or Serious Health Issues. Longreach - 22 beds (Female only Residential Programme, 3 – 6 month programme or longer) offers specialist female only residential treatment. The ethos and therapeutic approach is informed by the recognition that women, in order to address many of the issues and life experiences that have led to dependence on drugs and/or alcohol, need the safety of an extended stay in an all female environment. Closereach - 18 beds (Male only Residential Programme, 3 – 6 month programme or longer) offers specialist male only residential treatment. At Closereach clients are part of a safe and secure community and along with other residents share responsibility for the smooth running of the house and the maintenance of safety and trust in the group. The treatment programme is structured consisting of group therapy, individual counselling, and assignment work. Ocean Quay (Day Services) offer a structured 12 week programme of education and training. Clients can also access supported housing, resettlement, a fully facilitated gym, a volunteer and mentoring project, a recording studio and internet cafe, and also family support.
