We’re here to work compassionately with clients so they can learn to live without addiction to drink, drugs or harmful behaviours, begin their life-changing recovery journeys and live happy and fulfilling lives. Located in Weston-super-Mare, Broadway Lodge supports people with addictions to: • Alcohol • Illicit drugs • Prescription drugs • Gambling • Sex • Gaming • Co-dependency We provide inpatient medically-managed detoxification for people with an addiction to certain substances including alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and prescribed medication, and they are cared for 24/7 by our specialist nurses and health care assistants. Once the detox is completed (if required), clients can immerse themselves into our comprehensive therapeutic programme. This is where real change starts to happen. They work with counsellors and their peers to understand their addiction and address the root cause so they can develop healthy coping mechanisms and the tools to sustain their recovery. They will also address other presenting issues. The programme nurtures emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing and we aim for clients leave with hope for the future, positivity and increased self-worth We have a Consultant Psychiatrist who clients can see when recommended and the team is highly experienced in supporting people who have dual diagnosis where another condition co-exists alongside their addiction such as anxiety and depression.
