Broadwood Capital is an independent provider of finance supporting all real estate asset classes in the UK. We are a principal lender specialising in development finance for later living and residential projects and also in complex or higher-leverage requirements where borrowers require bespoke funding structures. Our core lending strategies align with identified long-term structural UK macro trends, including an ageing demographic, sustainability in the built environment and the retreat of traditional sources of finance. Broadwood has completed close to £100 million in loans since launch in 2022, working with developers and sponsors to deliver high-quality and socially impactful schemes across the UK. As a principal lender with a deeply experienced team, we offer fast, pragmatic decision-making and a flexible, commercial approach and provide loans from £5m to £50m and up to 75% LTV or 90% LTC. Our process is efficient and transparent — from credit approval through to execution — and is backed by deep knowledge of real estate and investment finance. Following loan completion, we remain a collaborative partner, helping our borrowers adapt and succeed as projects evolve and progress. In Q4 2024, we launched the Broadwood Later Living Sustainable Construction Finance Fund, a regulated fund supported by cornerstone investment from Aviva Investors, to tap into one of our core conviction thematics and provide capital to a high-potential but often overlooked sector.
