Product design as an industry has evolved from a general discipline to one that increasingly relies on specialist sector knowledge. Despite our varied past, today we specialise in designing for the workplace. This allows us to combine the design of spaces, the integration of technology, the design of work tools and the design of furniture. Although our focus is one sector, it relies on a range of design capability and the potential for a variety of strategic and tactical projects. Much of our work is research led and we are familiar with the constantly evolving ideas about the workplace. However, one thing we are sure about is that the most valued asset of any organisation is its workforce. Therefore we are focussed on solutions that enable the worker to be productive in a safe, attractive and efficient space. This focus pulls together a range of responses and design disciplines. The spread of work we have undertaken includes responding to major architectural tenders, the development of product strategies for office equipment brands and the design of furniture ranges for leading manufacturers.
