Brother Carioca

We are a voluntary and independent project, thoughtfully created by students for students, dedicated to fostering interaction between exchange students and local PUC-RIO students. In 2017, we came together with our initial group of 14 dedicated founding volunteers, all recently returned from their own exchange experiences and longing for the vibrant cultural blend they had encountered. Our primary objective is to continually promote cultural exchange through a variety of activities, with a specific focus on cultivating meaningful relationships that contribute to an authentic "carioca" experience. Somos um projeto voluntário e independente, criado por estudantes para estudantes, dedicado a promover a interação entre estudantes de intercâmbio e estudantes locais da PUC-Rio. Em 2017, unimos forças com nosso grupo inicial de 14 voluntários fundadores dedicados, todos recentemente retornados de suas próprias experiências de intercâmbio e ansiando pela vibrante mistura cultural que encontraram. Nosso objetivo principal é promover continuamente o intercâmbio cultural por meio de uma variedade de atividades, com um foco específico em cultivar relacionamentos significativos que contribuam para uma autêntica experiência "carioca".
