Brown Memorial Home is unique - we're the only not-for-profit nursing, rehab, and assisted living community in Pickaway county. Celebrating our 123rd year of existence, we are not a complacent institution resting on its laurels; we are dynamic and evolving to meet the ever changing needs of our residents and guest. Recently Brown was added to the Eden Alternative Registry, affirming that it has evolutionary skills and a deep trust in the wisdom of the Elders it serves. Every employee has deepened his or her focus on the core person-directed values—choice, dignity, respect, self-determination, and purposeful living—to create a vibrant, life-affirming environment where each person matters and everyone has opportunities for growth, regardless of age or ability. Brown is the only Eden Alternative facility in Pickaway county. Beyond patient centered care… honoring its history—and the elders it serves—while being fully present to the needs of those elders in this moment and leaning into the future of what it means to care for those who need assistance caring for themselves. For more than a century, Brown Memorial Home has provided residents of Pickaway County with nursing home services in a family atmosphere. Brown Memorial Home is church affiliated and the only nonprofit elderly care facility in Pickaway Country. We’re proud to have received a perfect survey, be number one in Pickaway County based on resident satisfaction surveys, and be awarded the status of inclusion on the Eden Registry.
