Mr. Brownstein recently served as Chief Restructuring Officer in U.S. Mortgage which involved a $138 million mortgage fraud, and led the Plan Administrator team in Montgomery Ward LLC, the largest retail liquidation in history. He regularly serves on the board of several companies, providing independent guidance in building enterprise value, including pursuing an exit strategy; corporate renewal, including turnaround management, bankruptcy reorganization and out-of-court restructuring; audit committee activities, including Sarbanes Oxley; and governance issues, including Board investigations and compliance issues.
