Brownstone Information Resources first began in 1988. By then it was obvious that the promise from years earlier of flying cars, vacations on the moon and household robots would probably never happen. However, there was another promise for the future that Brownstone believed – an exploding global need for sales and marketing information. Brownstone created a new business model with that vision in mind. The design was to construct a continuous improvement process (kaizen) to support the work of sales and marketing departments. When a sales opportunity is successful, we investigate why it worked. When it is unsuccessful, we conduct a sales autopsy investigation to learn why it failed.
