Brunei Innovation Lab (BIL) is at the heart of Brunei’s innovation ecosystem, fostering a dynamic community of digital champions and technopreneurs. Together, we are shaping a vibrant and sustainable economy for Brunei Darussalam, empowering the leaders of tomorrow. At BIL, we focus on driving innovation through: Workshops: Offering free public workshops on emerging tech topics, with over 80 workshops held so far, engaging 1,400+ participants. Hackathons & Innovation Programs: We run hackathons and innovation challenges, working on real-world problem statements provided by industry players. Accelerators: Through our accelerator programs, we help startups move from ideation and prototyping to commercialization through tailored support and tech consultancy. Funding Initiatives: We offer funding through various initiatives such as the Tech Assist Platform, which supports startups by subsidizing development tools, skilled developers, and facilitating access to prototyping labs.
