Brut Clothing

BRUT Clothing is a style office focused on creating clothing from vintage archives. The project began in 2012 with a desire to highlight our ideology based on love for matter, its irregularities its strength and its weaknesses. More than a step backwards Brut is a return to origins. Often overused, our desire is to reposition the 'vintage' as a current concept, with a new vision. The emphasis on rare clothes is a constant source of inspiration for stylists from ready to wear to haute couture. Evolutive according to trends, our selection is regularly consulted for the development in prestigious houses. Our expertise in the utility garment, is also found in the world of cinema. We have the chance to collaborate frequently with renowned American studios like Warner Bros. Today, a new chapter is being written with the opening of our showroom in the heart of Paris, in the 10th arrondissement, a district known for its diversity: a choice dictated by a sensitivity to the world around us. In Dubuffet, the notion of "brut" takes on its full meaning insofar as clothes once thought for a specific use take on a real aesthetic dimension that transcends us.
