Bryan Isd Education Foundation

The Bryan ISD Education Foundation was established in to promote and provide for unmet educational needs of the Bryan ISD school district. Today its mission is simple…to raise financial resources to elevate student achievement and support educators across the district. The Foundation board consists of passionate community members who are motivated to expand the learning opportunities for BISD students by providing teacher grant awards and scholarship opportunities for outgoing seniors. Through the generous giving of local families and businesses, the Education Foundation was able to grant over to educator and student initiatives in 2024. Since the Bryan ISD Education Foundation has awarded over $2.5 million in funds. Approximately 1,200 graduating seniors have received over $1.5 million towards their college, career, or military goals. The Foundation has given 549 grants in excess of for specialized classroom projects and has donated an additional in special initiatives such as new teacher gift cards, a BISD Reading Initiative Program, Attendance Initiatives, Teacher Appreciation cards, and smaller district-wide projects. Each year former Bryan ISD alumni are honored at a “Hall of Honor” banquet. These individuals have achievements, strength of character, and exceptional citizenship that serve as a model to inspire and challenge today’s students. This banquet serves as an opportunity to honor these outstanding alumni while also raising money to grow the mission of the Bryan ISD Education Foundation. Through the partnership of our generous community, the Bryan ISD Education Foundation is encouraging educators, inspiring students, and building a stronger district one dollar at a time.
