Bsc - Sail Cargo
The Blue Schooner Company offers the opportunity to use wind energy to transport goods, mainly organic or fair trade, by sea. From the producer to the consumer, of course by the carrier, everyone can participate directly and actively in the preservation of our planet, using wind rather than fuel. Created in 2017, the company is chartering the blue schooner "De Gallant", a tall ship built in the Netherlands in 1916, with a loading capacity of 30 tonnes and 22 passengers. The ship is also open to passengers with or without experience as well as to young sailors in training, with the idea of sharing our knowledge with as many people, both around navigation and the environment. The awareness of ocean preservation is a very important element for the company. Finally, the schooner Gallant serves to support scientific missions, allowing scientists working on climate, oceanography or marine biology to work on a non-polluting ship.
