BSH Home Appliances Group in China BSH Home Appliances Group is a well-known manufacturer of home appliances and one of the leading companies in the sector worldwide. The group was founded in 1967 as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH (Stuttgart) and Siemens AG (Munich). Since the beginning of 2015, BSH exclusively belongs to the Bosch Group. Since BSH’s entry into the China market in 1994, and over decades of fast growth, China has become one of the most important markets for the Group worldwide. Headquartered in Nanjing, BSH China holds six branch companies, operates two production bases in Chuzhou and Nanjing, and has a research and development center and Asia-Pacific data exchange center in Nanjing. BSH China has a complete value chain of home appliances from procurement, R&D, production, sales, and logistics to after-sales services. The range of home appliance products manufactured in China include refrigerators, washing machines, washer dryers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, steamer ovens, range hoods, cooking appliances and consumer products. BSH China has established over 30 customer service centers nationwide sales network which covers more than 630 cities in 31 provinces. This network meets the varying needs of the Chinese market, and provides R&D services and products to foreign markets. Since 2014, BSH was recognized as a “Top Employer China” for the 6th time by the Top Employers Institute and also named “Top Employer Asia Pacific” in 2015 and 2016. This award marks the talent strategy’s significant success in talent management and also sets an industry-wide benchmark for home appliance manufacturers. By the end of 2020, BSH had about 11,188 employees in China. On October 1, 2014, BSH China successfully underwent an organizational reconfiguration to become BSH Region Greater China. This new structure aims to use regional resources more efficiently and better leverage brand advantages.
