Dr. Espinosa, an Atlanta native, opened Buckhead Medicine back in 2008 to be a revolutionary internal medicine practice focused on delivering the highest quality healthcare, in a personal and compassionate manner with emphasis on providing each patient the attention, respect, and time they need. Primary physician, Dr. Edward Espinosa D.O, M.P.H, is a board certified internal medicine physician and is on staff at Piedmont, Northside and St. Josephs Hospitals in Atlanta. Dr. Valerie Pershad, M.D, is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Institute of Functional Medicine. She completed her medical school at George Washington University and completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Our mission is to deliver superior outpatient medical care to the North Atlanta community with an emphasis on quality of care, facilitating access to care, and focusing on the patient as our client.
