About Us BB (Building Blocks)—that’s who we are. UD (Urban Design) – that’s what we do. An urban environment is defined as: living or being situated in a large town. A town being: a large concentrated collection of dwellings in a densely populated settlement, which has become a reality for most urban areas of the world. BBUD aim is to resolve the challenges you experience with space and functionality in commercial or residential design, we work hand in hand with you (our client) to provide a coherent environment that is suitable for your needs. By following these basic stages: Inception (where the clients brief is of utmost Importance), Concept and viability, Design development, Documentation, Project management, Construction, Close out and Commissioning, we deliver an energy efficient design (compliant to SANS 10400 PART XA) that is aesthetically pleasing and adheres to good building practice. Our goal is to become Africa’s leading urban design company, we will continue to provide our clients with spaces that they will love to inhabit, until we reach our journey’s end.
