Bulgarian Huntington Association Bha

Bulgarian Huntington Association (BHA) is a non-profit organisation specialising in informing and assisting those affected by a wide range of rare diseases in Bulgaria. The association has established a Centre for Rare Disease Treatment and Rehabilitation and frequently organises and hosts educational events and seminars to increase visibility of rare diseases on a national level. As a part of the company's EmpoweRARE2021 project, a Rare Disease Information Helpline has recently been launched and included in a helpline network, coordinated by EURORDIS - Europe's largest rare disease organisation. BHA's main goal is to be at the forefront of social change by helping the growing number of those affected by rare diseases in the country (over 400 people) find information regarding available healthcare and social support resources.
