Bunkai

BUNKAI is a motion-tracking sports & rehabilitation coach for the great multitude. Using the latest in computer vision technology, we're developing an AI coach that observes what you are doing and provides you with instant biomechanical feedback, allowing you to work out and improve your skills — anytime, anyplace. A key difference between BUNKAI and other sports and healthcare related apps is that BUNKAI creates an effective feedback loop with the user, as if they were working out together in person. While plenty of apps can tell you what to do, only a select few can observe what you are doing using your device's camera. Where BUNKAI stands out is that it creates a complete feedback loop between itself and the user, using a combination of audio, text and visual aides to help the user in real-time, or afterwards when they look back at their achievements. Fun fact: the Japanese word (bunkai) literally meaning "analysis" or "disassembly.” When used in the context of Japanese martial arts, it refers to the process of analysing kata (“form”) and extracting fighting techniques from the movements.
