Burdiss More Than Mail

Robert Burdiss is the force behind BLS (formerly known as Burdiss Lettershop Services). After years of experience in the print shop and mailing services industry, Robert added entrepreneur to his resume in November, and opened BLS. His lasting imprint is part project manager, part teacher: he ensures projects are done well, and also keeps others apprised of the constantly changing world of direct mail and printing. Robert understood early that surrounding himself with experts who could complement his own strengths is good for clients, and he’s built a team that he trusts to assist customers as they tackle projects and ever-changing technologies and best practices. Robert’s influence is a part of every element of the business, from the importance of proper set-up and maintenance of our intricately complex machines, to the candor and tact with which clients are treated. While the industry has changed, and our capabilities have increased, Robert has insisted that our focus of providing top-notch, quality services, remain constant. Robert’s service days are behind him, but the values and determination to serve clients live on in every employee. He jumps in when an unusually complex problem arises, and he still has that magic touch: he sorts out the nuts and bolts to get to the core issue quickly, and he doesn’t quit until the problem is solved. Burdiss Expansion Continues Burdiss strives to be a leader in the direct mail, printing and data management industries. Continued growth has recently allowed the acquisition of Consolidated Mailing, Computer Mailing and CBF Mailing, bringing us one step closer to achieving our corporate and industry goals. Due to these acquisitions as well as our organic growth, additional space has become necessary. In January 2016, we moved into our square foot facility in Overland Park, Kansas. This move represented a doubling in square footage from our previous facility, and an over 40 times increase in square footage from our original facility.
