Burke & Quick Partners LLC is an agency brokerage firm providing institutional equity trading, soft dollars, and proprietary research to banks, brokerage firms, investment companies, money managers, and hedge funds. BQP LLC's non-participation in proprietary trading assures clients of unconflicted interests and its commitment to honesty, integrity, and confidentiality provides clients with a level of service that consistently exceeds expectations. The BQP division began as Quick & Reilly Institutional Services in 1992, and became Fleet Institutional Trading Services as a result of Fleet Bank's acquisition of Quick & Reilly in February 1998. Chapdelaine Institutional Equities was formed in April 2004 when the former Fleet Institutional Trading Services group joined Chapdelaine Corporate Securities and Co.(CCS). CCS's January 2007 acquisition by Tullett Prebon Holdings Corp. led to CIE becoming a division of Tullett Prebon Financial Services LLC. In November 2010, Burke & Quick Partners was formed by James Burke after an amicable split from Tullett Prebon Financial Services.
