Burren Distillers

Steeped in myth and mystery, our distillery is nestled in the lee of Cappanawalla, within the Burren UNESCO Global Geopark. As descendants of Burren clans, ours is an ancient Gaelic distilling tradition. We specialise in Sean Gael Whiskey, a spirit common to our lands in the 13th century and now revived for your palate and portfolio. We use locally grown barley, steep it in Burren well water, germinate on wooden floors, kiln-dry and mill, then mash and ferment in Irish oak vats. Our spirit is distilled in traditional direct fired stills and matured in Irish oak barrels.
