Busi Group

Busi Group is a leading company in Italy in the production of waste management systems: waste collection, compaction and transportation; street sweeping; and the transportation of materials and raw materials. The various companies that make up the Group work synergistically to design and market integrated products under the brands BTE, MEC, OMB Technology, BSA, and MEC AGRI, dedicated to public and private companies that provide waste collection and urban hygiene services, or that need to collect and transport materials and agricultural products. The Busi Group ecosystem: BTE: The company is based in Paitone, in the province of Brescia, and since 1991 it has been manufacturing compactors, roll-off containers, and stationary presses. It also handles the outfitting of equipment for waste and material collection and transport: roll-offs, tippers, and loaders. MEC: Founded in 1966 in Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo, MEC specializes in the construction of loaders (cranes), hooklift and skiploader equipment, industrial trailers, and agricultural roll-off trailers. MEC was acquired by the Busi Group in 2005 and in 2025 was incorporated into BTE S.p.A. MEC AGRI: MEC AGRI was created from the union between Busi Group and Rimorchi Roagna, becoming the brand dedicated to roll-off agricultural trailers for the agriculture of the future. OMB TECHNOLOGY: Founded in Brescia in 1961, the company specializes in the production of products for curbside collection (stationary metal bins of various types and waste collection vehicles with side-loading, rear-loading, and door-to-door systems with satellite vehicles). The company is known in the industry for having conceived and developed the side-loading road collection system with a single-operator vehicle and stationary bin. OMB was acquired by the Busi Group in 2014. BSA: Based in Venice, BSA is a newly established company (2022), founded by professionals with strong expertise in street sweeping and urban hygiene
