The Butting CryoTech GmbH is the global leader in vacuum insulated piping (VIP) for the transfer of cryogenic liquids (LNG, LH2, LO2, LN2, LHe, LAr) serving the oil & gas, automotive, and research sectors. LNG VIP: The cost efficient transport of liquid natural gas (LNG) requires transfer systems of much larger dimensions compared to all other common cryogenic liquids. Cryo valves: The introduction of valves into vacuum insulated piping (VIP) requires perfect integration into the insulation system. Schwanner accomplishes this either via welded or flange couplings, which guarantees loss-free connections with lowest possible boil-off rates.
