Buxus

Buxus™ delivers on demand information to individual pipeline operators (who subscribe to the system) and emergency responders. Buxus™ will display the operator's assets, operational considerations, and most importantly, the critical information needed to emergency responders. Action(s) taken during the first 30 to 60 minutes of a pipeline incident dramatically affect the outcome of an incident. Buxus™ was created to assist emergency responders make the most of this critical period by providing them with a field-deployable method of accessing the information necessary to rapidly assess, and begin taking control of, a pipeline release. Once downloaded, Buxus™ provides emergency responders information regardless of having cell coverage or a wifi-signal, including: • the identity of a pipeline’s operator; • a direct number to that operator’s control center; • the identity of the product carried and associated hazards; and • line location, size, and operating pressure.
