BUZZ is an inspiring TV show airing on public television stations across the U.S. – and on YouTube – that highlights and helps nonprofits by giving them more. buzz! Not only does BUZZ feature the great work that nonprofits do in our communities, we provide these life-giving organizations with pro bono marketing services to attract more donors, volunteers and clients to their cause. The United States has more than 1.5 million nonprofits that employ one out of every 10 Americans. And in our country's current climate of corporate corruption and political controversy, our nonprofits recall us to our better selves, providing services that would otherwise go unfulfilled and keeping our community connected when other institutions seem to fail. Like any company, nonprofits have employees and bills to pay, a budget to balance. They require money. And if enough people don't know about them, don't believe in them, don't support them - in short, if they lack buzz - they suffer and die. Each episode of BUZZ (a philanthropic "Shark Tank" meets "Extreme Makeover") we meet a nonprofit and learn about the good it does in the community it serves. And we hear about the thing it needs to make a difference in the organization … something to give it more buzz.
