By Hinders is a design studio by Central Saint Martins BA Menswear alumni Jonathan Ingberg, inspired by the need to develop by-product wool from his family’s sheep farm in Finland. Having worked as a designer across both menswear and womenswear in Paris and Stockholm at acclaimed fashion houses, Ingberg decided to branch out on his own in 2020 to focus on a unisex collection produced in collaboration with local artisans. Ingberg’s design practice focuses on refined craft ethos that celebrates the daily rituals of being. His work has a strong utilitarian emphasis with subtle renewal each collection.
