Bygghouse is a building product supply and technology consultancy focused on commercializing technology used in Scandinavia for energy saving in buildings in the North American construction industry. Bygghouse offers Scandinavian companies an experienced, entrepreneurial, team who understand Scandinavian construction and how their approaches for building performance can be used in North America. Bygghouse is focused on addressing the challenges of adapting products and systems used in Scandinavian buildings to the standards and conditions found within the North American construction industry. There is a trending interest in saving energy in buildings and many of the ideas that are commonly used in Scandinavia are proven cold weather building solutions that have application in North America. Though a developing network of agreements with Scandinavian companies who have technology currently not available in North America, or not well understood by the market in North America, we present a present a system based, coherent framework to North American builders as part of our ongoing efforts to explain how energy efficient building is accomplished in Scandinavia. Scandinavian solutions are generally useful in manufactured housing, new construction, energy retrofitting and basic remodeling and additions mainly in the cold climate zones of North America and all of Canada.
