The unique opportunity presented by combining stone, metal, and enamel into a unique vision for the wearer is truly rewarding for me. I see patterns in the world around me that inspire my designs. I am flexible about the ideas and materials my clients ask me to incorporate into a piece of jewelry. I work in 18K gold, platinum, diamonds and enamel. Metalwork for the burgees is exclusively done in 18K gold and platinum. The diamonds provide an additional, discreet flash of light and color. I only use first grade quality VS and G-H color diamonds. All diamonds are full cuts. Enamel is a decorative technique in which a composition of heated glass or glass-like material is fused to a surface in this case, 18k gold or platinum. Some enamel is opaque, while others are translucent or transparent. The latter allows the textured or engraved surface to show through.
