C – The Consumer Intelligence Lab, or just C-Lab is a laboratory specialising in learning about and analysing the changing behaviour of consumers. C-Lab intends to be the basis for the informed definition of business strategies, providing an answer to all those who have a vision of the consumer as the key driver of change in order to ensure the appropriateness and sustainability of brands, products and services in the long term. Founded in 2009 by Return on Ideas, Ipsos Apeme and Augusto Mateus & Associados in the Portuguese market, C-Lab has established itself as a platform for cooperation between industries and closer cooperation between businesses. The way it operates in annual work cycles, funded by a group of companies from multiple sectors, fosters this Community spirit, exchanging experiences and knowledge. Using a series of tools for research and analysis of the consumer, of markets and industries and of the economic landscape, C aims to question, explore, analyse and reach conclusions. As a laboratory we are constantly testing new approaches and ways of doing things.
