Collectives for Arts Music and Dance (C4AMD) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Northern Manhattan dedicated to uplifting underserved communities through the power of traditional arts. Our mission is to preserve Dominican and Caribbean cultural heritage while promoting wellness, education, and community pride. We do this through free and low-cost programs including folk music workshops, youth dance ensembles, public performances, and seasonal festivals. Since 2019, we’ve engaged hundreds of local youth and families in joyful cultural expression, often transforming parks, museums, and community centers into vibrant spaces of healing and identity. Our “Aires de Navidad” concert drew over 2,500 attendees last December and included a toy and food drive for families in need.
