Cahang

Cahang is an innovative percussion instrument that blends rhythm and design. Invented and designed by Matty Ulenaers and his son Ward, it offers musicians a new way to find their groove. Ward, a cajón player, struggled to move and dance freely with fellow musicians while playing. With no alternative available, father and son began experimenting together. The result: a suspended percussion instrument with a rich palette of sound colors and a highly ergonomic design. The Cahang allows for hours of comfortable playing and fosters deeper interaction with fellow musicians and the audience — a rhythmic revolution born from passion, creativity, and a strong family bond.
