Caleotto, azienda appartenente a Feralpi Group, rappresenta una realtà leader nella produzione di acciai speciali. Da oltre 100 anni nel panorama siderurgico, costituisce una delle realtà più longeve del distretto lecchese. Prosegue il proprio percorso di crescita attraverso investimenti e attività di ricerca e sviluppo funzionali ad aumentare l’efficienza degli impianti produttivi e a renderli tali da garantire elevati standard qualitativi di prodotto, processo e servizio alla clientela. Agli interventi infrastrutturali di migliorie agli impianti e macchinari, di natura sia tecnica-industriale che di automazione e software, si affiancano progetti di ricerca sviluppati in collaborazione con il Politecnico di Milano – Polo territoriale di Lecco. Active for over 100 years in the steel industry, it has been one of the longest-lasting businesses of the Lecco district. Its ongoing research and development activities and investments in innovation are aimed at improving production efficiency at Caleotto manufacturing plant and ensure delivery of high quality products and customer service. In addition to infrastructure improvements to plants and machinery, both through adopting innovations into manufacturing practices and application of automated software engineering technology, we carry out collaborative research projects with the Politecnico di Milano, Lecco territorial hub.
