California Groundbreakers

As Californians, we're used to the ground moving and shaking beneath our feet. We're also used to groundbreaking innovation happening all over the state. And as the capital of California, Sacramento is ground zero for a lot of that innovation. Credit all that to a mix of Groundbreakers - inspiring people who are setting trends, starting movements, creating events and trying to improve things in the city, the county and the region around us. We're a civic-engagement, community-focused organization that holds moderated panels, interviews, discussions, events in the Sacramento region's most interesting and lively places. The goals: Have California Groundbreakers talk about what they’re doing and why it matters. Have Californians come out to listen, ask questions, get enthused, feel inspired to help, and be ready to break their own ground.
