Cambridge Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a holistic therapy initially developed in the 1960’s by an American chiropractor. It uses muscle testing as a diagnostic tool to gain information about the body’s organs and systems. With kinesiology you can identify the root cause of your problems as well as the best course of action to restore your health. By testing a person’s muscle response, you can find out what is not working well for that specific person and what needs to be addressed to improve their health. As such, each treatment is tailored to the patients’ individual needs. Today there are many different forms of kinesiology and it’s used by chiropractors, osteopaths, nutritionists, doctors and physicians around the world. Over the last 10 years at Cambridge Kinesiology I’ve identified three key areas central in restoring my clients’ health. These three areas now constitute the foundation for my Restore Health Protocol: Relieve - Replenish - Rebalance. RELIEVE Identify and address factors that cause stress to your body. This can be from food, infections, chemical imbalances, emotional stress, trauma, or as is often the case, a combination of the above. REPLENISH Identify and correct nutritional deficiencies through diet and supplements. To maintain a good nutritional status is essential for your body and mind to function in an optimal way. REBALANCE Optimise health recovery by rebalancing the body. This step generally makes clients feel more relaxed, as it balances tight muscles and makes the body work neurologically more in sync.
