Tax: In many cases the tax implications of various investment strategies are only considered after the fact. Camino works with the clients’ tax advisors to understand the clients tax profile to ensure that investment returns are viewed net of taxes (and not gross!). Risk: Understanding risk across the full spectrum of a client’s investment portfolio, especially when multiple wealth managers are employed, is essential to successful long term investment returns. Camino measures the clients’ exposures in aggregate and provides simple guidance on managing risks. Behaviour: Investors are prone to make changes in response to negative market movements.
