Camotan Clinic

We are a non-profit 501c3 dedicated to providing medical care for people in a remote corner of Guatemala who suffer from severe poverty. Our initial contact with this remote part of the country and its wonderful people started in 2007. Annual medical trips for the next 9 years helped develop our relationship with these people and this area. For the last 5 years, we have had a full-time clinic operating. We treat simple infections, manage chronic illnesses, provide dental care and usher in public health practices such as vitamins, water filters and pre and post natal care. Our Mission: To ease suffering and improve health and longevity to Guatemalans suffering from extreme poverty by providing ongoing, high-quality medical and dental services to those in need. Our Vision: Expand our presence to include obstetrics, surgical specialties and to help promote public health issues such as clean water and sanitation for the entire mountain community.
