Camp Claire

For 100 years, Camp Claire has provided children with some of the best summers of their lives! Camp Claire is a rustic, old-fashioned summer camp that overlooks beautiful Hamburg Cove in Lyme, CT. It is a place steeped in traditional family values and gives kids the freedom to be kids. With a staff hand-picked by our director, counselors create daily programs and classes to inspire and enrich the lives of each and every camper that walks through the gate. CLASSES INCLUDE: Swimming, Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, Arts & Crafts, Sports, Low Ropes, Camp Craft and any additional creative classes that our counselors may be qualified and interested to teach. Our camp cook and kitchen staff serve our meals family style (unless we are having an outside barbecue). All the meals are prepared on-site. We offer residential camping for girls and boys ages 8 to 13 as well as day camp for 6 to 14 year olds. For 14 to 16 year olds, we offer a leadership program that can lead to positions as camp counselors.
