Camps For Children

Camps for Children is a student-run organization that 1) Funds, coordinates and promotes free summer camp programming, alongside community corporations, for children from low income families. 2) Organizes sponsorship and fundraising initiatives throughout the year at the University of Ottawa All objectives are currently focused on Nepean Housing Corporation. They are a non-profit organization that provides affordable housing for low and moderate income families. Through fundraising initiatives, our immediate goal is to organize and promote free summer camp programming for communities built and supported by the Nepean Housing Corporation. Inspiration: Camps for Children was inspired by the selflessness and integrity shown by Nepean Housing Corporation and their goal of providing free camp programming to their residents. We hope to broaden their initiative and strive to promote, alongside Nepean Housing Corporation, a healthy community for children.
