Camvine is the cloud based digital signage company which makes it easy to display live information on screens whether they be in a 1 or screen networks. This content can be images, PowerPoint presentations, videos, webpages or RSS feeds (like weather, news and traffics), The live information sources can include social media (such as Twitter, Flickr and Facebook) or proprietary databases (such as SharePoint, SAP, Google Apps and Salesforce). Camvine works with channel partners to go to market. It provides private labelling, user dashboards and marketing materials for OEM, distributor and reseller partners to represent the product. The digital signage product is called CODA, standing for Content Delivery Architecture. Camvine also has a Professional Services Division to customise solutions. This might be webpages for user interfaces or display screen outputs; or more complicated projects to build a market niche product on top of CODA (like Waiting Room TV). The company was founded by Dr. Quentin Stafford-Fraser and Dr. Michael Dales in 2007 to bring the values of Web culture - such as simplicity and openness - and the power of Web 2.0 technologies - scalability, affordability and extensibility - to the world of digital signage.
